Nursery & Children's Church Helpers!!! If you are willing or able to help, please sign up on the bulletin board or contact Dyveke Cox.
We encourage you to read the book of Zechariah and John in the Bible this month. ZECHARIAH. Zechariah’s prophecies began two months after Haggai’s first message. God sent Zechariah eight visions to encourage the builders of the temple. In Chapters 7 and 8, Zechariah called the people to obey God by acting fairly and mercifully to one another. Chapters 9-14 predict the coming of Zion’s King, “The Lord Almighty.” JOHN. The fourth Gospel was also written by one of Jesus’ twelve disciples—John, “The disciple whom Jesus loved.” John wrote this Gospel so that “you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name”. (John 20:31) John wanted to show that the things Jesus said and the miracles he did proved that he was God. He chose stories to show Jesus’ godly powers at times when men were powerless. But, he also showed that Jesus was human and could become tired or hungry or sad, just like us.

Join us on Facebook “WISDOM FROM GOD’S WORD” "GRACE" Grace is the kindness of God to man especially bestowed upon someone undeserving favor bestowed upon sinners through Christ Jesus. "For God who is rich in mercy for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins hath quickened us together in Christ — by grace we are saved." Grace, therefore, is that unmerited favor of God towards fallen man, whereby, for the sake of Christ—who is the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth — He has provided for man’s redemption. Grace is also regarded as the sustaining influence enabling the believer to persevere in the Chris-tian life. JOHN 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. ROMANS 3:22-24 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Je-sus. ROMANS 6:14 For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace. ROMANS 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer by works, if it were, grace would no longer be grace. EPHESIANS 1:7,8 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. EPHESIANS 2:6-9 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the in-comparable riches of his grace, expressed in kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast. II THESSALONIANS 2:16, 17 May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. HEBREWS 4:16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. JAMES 4:6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." Dear Heavenly Father, Your loving grace is so amazing. We love you so much for showing us kindness that we do not deserve and showing us favor in life without our effort. Thank you for loving us unconditionally. In Jesus’ name, Amen. In Jesus name, Amen.
